Tea Makers Dinner

In collaboration with Copenhagen Sparkling Tea, we invite you on Friday 30 January to a atmospheric Tea Makers Dinner. We set the table for an evening where seasonal Nordic gastronomy and elegant sparkling tea go hand in hand.

On this occasion, the classic wine menu is replaced by a carefully curated Sparkling Tea pairing. The menu consists of five courses, each designed to highlight the pure, precise and elegant flavour nuances of a total of eight selected Sparkling Teas.

This is a rarely curated tasting experience, guided throughout the evening by Jacob Kocemba, sommelier and creator of Copenhagen Sparkling Tea. Along the way, he shares his knowledge of flavour, structure and nuance, offering insight into how each tea has been thoughtfully paired with the dishes.

Much like selecting a unique bottle from the wine cellar for a special occasion, we will delve into our reserves this evening to select some of the most exceptional Sparkling Teas. This creates a special opportunity to experience how tea develops over time, and how ageing gives rise to new, delicate nuances.

The evening is created with a focus on both quality and choice: a gastronomic menu paired with Sparkling Tea, enjoyed either entirely alcohol-free or low alcohol, both served with the same finesse as any fine wine pairing.

As this event has not previously been held in Denmark, the Tea Makers Dinner is aimed at those who appreciate thoughtful gastronomy, new perspectives and a relaxed yet refined experience in the beautiful surroundings of the Opera House – and who are eager to try something truly new and unique.
