Almanak tastes of Denmark all year round
Restaurant Almanak is our Danish tribute to the French bistro. The seasons form our culinary compass, and we are inspired by the local vegetables, seafood, which are in season right now. When this year's first rhubarb stalks, winter's abundance of root vegetables or the irresistible lumpfish roe arrives completely fresh in the kitchen, it just itches in us to transform them into tasty dishes.
The restaurant is named after the old Danish word for annual calendar, because Almanak is the taste of Denmark all year round.
