Restaurant Almanak i Operaen is the perfect choice for functions in Copenhagen. We take care of food and wine and of setting up and coordinating your bespoke event. We operate in close cooperation with The Royal Danish Theatre, offering our extensive experience in organizing large and small events with the setup you desire.
The Opera is divided into 4 balconies illustrated below. For functions and events, we can put all of the balconies into play, also in combination.

As part of the LOCA Group, Almanak i Operaen works closely with the other restaurants in the LOCA Group. This provides the opportunity for bespoke solutions for almost any type of event across our restaurants and venues.

The Opera Foyer
Capacity: 500 with round tables / 800 with long tables / 1500 at a reception (the whole house)
The large room with four balconies offers many variations, whether you are hosting a grand dinner, a magnificent reception, or a conference in unique surroundings. When you hold your event at the Opera, you also have the opportunity to take advantage of the large forecourt facing the water - let your guests arrive directly by boat, and have musicians play them along as they enter from the plaza in front of the Opera.

The 1st Balcony
Capacity: 180 with round tables / 224 with long tables
The Opera's first balcony is a very special one with Olafur Eliasson's three glowing light
spheres as a floating focal point with a large bar in the centre of the balcony.

"Takkelloftet" Foyer
Capacity: 110 with round tables / 144 with cinema setup / 200 at a reception
"Takkelloftet" in the Opera is a so-called black box scene, making it suitable for many types of events.
The accompanying foyer has a beautiful view of the old dock and is an obvious choice to include as part of your event.
